Grey Rose Architects are celebrating another planning approval this year for an unusual brief in the Charnwood Borough.
Both the undulating vaulted roof and elevations of the new extension are wrapped in zinc cladding - offering a high end, sleek finish. The project incorporates an internal reconfiguration and an additional "CrossFit Box" home gym to the rear of the existing double garage.

Our First Year Anniversary!
Today is a very special day for us here at Grey Rose Architects as we are celebrating our first birthday.
Twelve months ago we launched the practice and over the course of year we have carried out 39 design consultations, we currently have 22 live projects and we have achieved 100% planning approvals to name a few feats.
We would like to say a big thank you to our wonderful clients, colleagues, family and friends. We've built a lot of great relationships already, and we're looking forward to strengthening them even further.

Contemporary Design within Conservation Area
EXCITING NEWS
GRA have recently submitted a high-end, contemporary, timber-clad extension along with a supporting 31 page Design and Access statement, for consideration.
The proposal intends to modernise family living whilst being respectful to the existing architectural style. An innovative design solution, using a contemporary palette to create a beautifully bespoke addition to their home.
Conservation applications can be some of the most challenging due to the amount of policy hurdles.
We relish a good challenge.

Planning approval has now been granted for this application (subject to condition) which is great news! Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council were engaged throughout, allowing us to achieve a collaborative approach to the design. Time for some celebration...
