RIBA Stirling Prize 2018

It's that time of year again...the RIBA Stirling Prize is a great way to showcase and acknowledge the very best of British Architecture.

The shortlist for the best building of 2018 has just been announced: In full, the six shortlisted projects are: Bloomberg London Headquarters by Foster + PartnersBushey Cemetery by Waugh Thistleton Architects, Chadwick Hall by Henley Halebrown, Tate St Ives by Jamie Fobert Architects with Evans & ShalevStorey's Field Community Centre and Nursery by MUMA, and the Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre by Niall McLaughlin Architects.

"Each of the projects on this year's shortlist shows the power and payback of investing in quality architecture, illustrating perfectly how well-designed buildings are worth every penny and can exceed the expectations of the community they serve," said RIBA president Ben Derbyshire.

"This shortlist illustrates why UK architects and architecture are held in such high regard around the world," he continued.
